Course Structure:

ATTC provides training courses in Knee Surgery for orthopedic surgeons.

Target audience

This one day course aims to provide orthoapedic surgeon the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills in ACL reconstruction and expand their knowledge and their expertise in their casualties or elective cases basic techniques.

Instructor

Demonstration and supervision is organized by the orthopaedic team of the General Hospital of Arta, comprised by well known certified surgeons from ESSKA.

Power point (or video) Lecture Presentations, Wet Lab Hands-on

Scientific program

The course comprises both theory and hands-on wet lab training at our fully equipped laboratories, with instruction on how to perform knee surgery in 3 steps : Anatomy, Surgical Approaches and Operative techniques, in short we can call it as “Surgical Anatomy of the Knee Joint

During the hands-on wet lab training, each participant will practice on a cadaver specimen all exercises. 2:1 trainee to cadaver specimen ratio.

  3. Extra-articular tenodesis

Surgical equipment

Fine instruments set (Adson forceps, Stevens scissors etc.)

After completion, participants receive an ATTC certificate.
